No Pranks Today, Please

...God money, I'll do anything for you,God money, just tell me what you want me to...
---------------------------------------------------------------
It is Sunday. I have to work tonight but I'd rather be off. On the bright side we got our yearly cost of living raise. I'm now making $15.67 an hour. It's an increase of .46, pretty nice I think.

I just finished reading the weekly update to PostSecret and some of them are things that I think and feel. I was kinda upset.

I wrote something at work last night: "Standing singularly, angrily he reads his book in this bitter place. He wants for nothing else but the comfort of his home and the warm arms of his lover."

I am now a proud supporter of Stanford University's Folding @ Home. It's a program similar to SETI @ Home in that it uses my PS3 while I'm not playing anything to process work units. Only instead of looking for radio waves like SETI does, Folding is mapping out the genom of diseases in hopes that we can find cures for them. While the process is running there is a globe that turns in the background with yellow dots all over it and each yellow dot is another PS3 user that is connected to the folding network. So far it's only completed one work unit as it takes several hours for a until to process. I just hope that whatever process time I can spare helps.

And speaking of the PS3 I finally found the damn Nine Inch Nails concert "Beside You In Time" on blu-ray last night at Best Buy. It's totally awesome to experience (not simply see but experience) this event. And the quality of the photos of the tour and the band under the extras are amazing!

So since I have to work tonight I'm off to bed. I'm sleepy.

Oh, and NO April Fools Day jokes on me please. I'm not in the mood.
